# The Budget (Northern Ireland) Order 2004 (repealed), Article 3: Issue of sum out of the Consolidated Fund for year ending 31st March 2004 and appropriation of that sum

Extent: N.I.

(1) The Department of Finance and Personnel may issue out of the Consolidated Fund and apply to the service of the year ending 31st March 2004 the sum of £9,579,408,000.
(2) That sum is appropriated for the purposes specified in Schedule 1.
(3) The authorisation and appropriations in this Article supersede those in Article 6 of the Budget (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (NI 7) and Article 4 of the Budget (No. 2) (Northern Ireland) Order 2003 (NI 14); and, in relation to any amount specified in column 2 of Schedule 1, any increase or decrease by virtue of this Article in the aggregate amount appropriated by those Articles is given in brackets after the amount.
