# The Building (Amendment) Regulations 2014, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st October 2014
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 3 and 34 of, and paragraphs 1, 2, 4, 4A, 7, 8(1) and 10 of Schedule 1 to, the Building Act 1984.
