# The Building (Amendment) Regulations 2017, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(3)
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of and paragraphs 2, 4 and 4A of Schedule 1 to the Building Act 1984.
