  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations 1985 by substituting a reference to the Building Regulations 1991 in the definition of “the principal regulations”.\nThey also amend regulation 27(4) (which prescribes the grounds on which a local authority may reject the deposit of plans where an approved inspector is to supervise those plans) by providing that a local authority may reject the deposit of plans where either paragraph A3 or A4 of Schedule 1 to the Building Regulations 1991 applies to the work shown in the plans.\nRegulation 3 contains transitional provisions.",
