# The Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) (Amendment) Regulations 1996, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 24th July 1996
Coming into force 14th October 1996
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 1(1), 16(9), 17(1) and (6), 47(1), (2), (3) and (4), 49(5), 51A and paragraphs 1(b), 2(d), 3, 7 and 10 of Schedule 1 to the Building Act 1984 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
