# The Building etc. (Amendment) (No. 2) (Wales) Regulations 2025, Introduction: Introductory text

The Welsh Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 1(1), 32(6), 34, 35(2) and (3), 35D(1), (2), and (3), 91ZD(1), (2) and (3) and 101A(3) and (4) of, and paragraphs 1A to 1D, 1F to 1I, 5A, 5B, 5C, 7, 8,and 10 of Schedule 1 to, the Building Act 1984, and section 167(1), (2) and (3) of the Building Safety Act 2022.
The Welsh Ministers have consulted the Building Regulations Advisory Committee for Wales and such other persons they consider appropriate under section 14(7) of the Building Act 1984.
