# The Building (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 10th February 2010
Coming into force 1st October 2010
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 8(8) and 54 of and Schedule 1 to the Building (Scotland) Act 2003 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 1(2) of the Building (Scotland) Act 2003 they have consulted with the Building Standards Advisory Committee and such other persons as appear to them to be representative of the interests concerned.
