  "text": "In this Schedule—\n“the commencement date for” any provision of this Act means the date on which that provision comes into operation;\n“existing society” means a building society registered at the passing of this Act under the repealed enactments; and\n“existing rules” means the rules of a society in force immediately before the commencement date for section 5.",
