  "text": "(1) Every building society shall at each annual general meeting appoint an auditor or auditors to hold office from the conclusion of that meeting until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting.\n(2) Schedule 11 to this Act has effect as regards the appointment, resignation and removal of auditors.\n(3) Appointment as auditor of a building society is an appointment as a statutory auditor to which the provisions of Part 42 of the Companies Act 2006 apply.",
