# The Building Standards (Scotland) Regulations 1990, Regulation 4: Fixtures not requiring a warrant


For the purposes of the proviso to section 6(1) of the Act, any operation for the alteration of a building which consists solely of the fitting of a fixture of a kind specified in Schedule 2 shall not, subject to the exceptions in column (3) of that Schedule, require a warrant.
