Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

A draft of these Regulations was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 236A(5) of the Local Government Act 1972^f1.

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 236A(1) to (4) of the Local Government Act 1972.
