  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of, and paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c. 16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a) to (d)) arising from the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.\nThese Regulations make amendments to legislation in the field of cableway installations and, in particular, amend legislation relating to the construction and modification of cableway installations and the conformity assessment of subsystems and safety components of cableway installations.\nPart 2 amends the Cableway Installations Regulations 2018. Part 3 amends Regulation (EU) 2016/424 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on cableway installations and repealing Directive 2000/9/EC.\nAn impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.\nAn Explanatory Memorandum is published alongside the instrument onwww.legislation.gov.uk",
