  "text": "The Secretary of State may authorise the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to carry out the following activities on behalf of the Secretary of State–—\n(a) assessing whether a conformity assessment body meets the requirements of Article 26 of Regulation 2016/424/EU; and\n(b) monitoring approved bodies in relation to their compliance with the requirements of Chapter 4 of Regulation 2016/424/EU.",
