# The Care Act 2014 (Commencement No.2) Order 2014, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 124(1) and (2), 127(1) and (5) of the Care Act 2014.
The Welsh Ministers have consented to the making of this Order insofar as their consent is required by section 127(3) of that Act.
