# The Care Homes (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2003, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st September 2003
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 22(1) and (7)(a), 25(1) and 118(5) to (7) of the Care Standards Act 2000, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having consulted such persons as he considers appropriate, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
