# The Care of Cathedrals Rules 2006, Article 13: Body from which approval is required: work to an object of interest


An application by a Chapter for approval of a proposal for the carrying out of any work to an object within section 2(1)(b) which would materially affect the architectural, archaeological, artistic or historic interest of the object, shall—
(a) if the object has been designated by the fabric advisory committee as being of outstanding architectural, archaeological, artistic or historic interest, be made to the Commission; and
(b) if the object is not within sub-rule (a) of this rule, be made to the fabric advisory committee.
