# The Care Standards Act 2000 (Commencement No.1) (Wales) Order 2000, Article 1: Citation, interpretation and application


(1) This Order may be cited as the Care Standards Act 2000 (Commencement No.1) (Wales) Order 2000.
(2) In this Order—
“the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Care Standards Act 2000;
“the Council” (“y Cyngor”) means the Care Council for Wales established by virtue of article 2(2) of this Order.
(3) This Order applies to Wales.
