# Carriage by Air Act 1961, Section 3: Fatal accidents.

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

References in section one of the Fatal Accidents Act, 1846, as it applies in England and Wales, and in Article 3(1) of the Fatal Accidents (Northern Ireland) Order 1977 to a wrongful act, neglect or default shall include references to any occurrence which gives rise to a liability under —
(a)Article 17 of the Convention;
(b)Article 17 of the Convention as amended; or
(c)Article 17.1 of the Montreal Convention.
