# The Carriers' Liability Regulations 2002, Regulation 12: Sale of transporters: period after which the power of sale may be exercised


The period prescribed for the purposes of section 37(7)(b) of the Act (the period after which the Secretary of State may sell a transporter detained under section 36A of the Act if the penalty and connected expenses have not been paid) is 14 days from the date the detention began.
