# The Case Tribunals (England) Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, having consulted the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council in accordance with section 44 of, and paragraph 24(1) of Schedule 7 to, the Tribunals Courts and Enforcement Act 2007, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 64(7), 65(4A), 77(2) and (6), 78A(4), (5), (7) and (8) and 105(2) of the Local Government Act 2000 makes the following Regulations:
