# The Cattle Identification (Scotland) Regulations 2007, Paragraph 15: Transporting animals

Extent: S

(1) No person shall knowingly transport an animal that is not accompanied by its identification document.
(2) But sub-paragraph (1) does not apply to transporting an animal between a principal holding and an additional holding.
(3) A person who fails to comply with sub-paragraph (1) commits an offence.
