Made under: European Communities Act 1972 (repealed) PDFs: Printed copy https://openlegislation.uk/cattle-identification-wales-amendment-regulations-2007/pdf/wsi_20073004_mi.pdf ## Introductory text ANIMALS, WALES ANIMAL HEALTH Made 22 October 2007 Laid before the National Assembly for Wales 23 October 2007 Coming into force 14 November 2007 The Welsh Ministers who are designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community and in relation to measures in the veterinary field for the protection of public health, make the following Regulations. ## 1 Title, application and commencement The title of these Regulations is the Cattle Identification (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2007; they apply in relation to Wales and come into force on 14 November 2007. ## 2 Amendment to the Cattle Identification (Wales) Regulations 2007 The Cattle Identification (Wales) Regulations 2007 are amended by adding after regulation 3(3) the following paragraph โ€” โ€œ(4) Any person who fails to comply with paragraph (1) or (3) is guilty of an offence.โ€ ## Signature Elin Jones Minister for Rural Affairs, one of the Welsh Ministers 22 October 2007 ## Explanatory note (This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations correct an error in the Cattle Identification (Wales) Regulations 2007 so as to make it an offence to fail to notify a holding under regulation 3.
