# The Cayman Islands Constitution Order 2009, Paragraph 56: Attorney General


(1) There shall be an Attorney General of the Cayman Islands, whose office shall be a public office and who shall be appointed in accordance with section 106.
(2) The Attorney General shall be the principal legal adviser to the Government and the Legislative Assembly.
