# The Cayman Islands Constitution Order 2009, Paragraph 72: Presiding in the Legislative Assembly


At sittings of the Legislative Assembly there shall preside—
(a) the Speaker; or
(b) in the absence of the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker; or
(c) in the absence of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker, such one of the elected members other than a Minister as may be elected by the elected members.
