  "heading": "Public Accounts Committee",
  "text": "(1) There shall be a Public Accounts Committee of the Legislative Assembly with power and responsibility to examine the public accounts of the Cayman Islands and the accounts and financial dealings of all authorities, offices and departments of Government, of all courts, and of all Government-owned companies.\n(2) The members of the Committee, and any person authorised by it to act on its behalf, shall have access to all books, records, reports and other documents relating to the accounts referred to in subsection (1).\n(3) The Committee shall receive reports from the Auditor General as provided in section 114(7).\n(4) The Committee shall be re-elected as soon as practicable after the Legislative Assembly first meets following a general election.",
