Article 2 Interpretation

In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires:–

  • “the Act” means the Census Act 1920;

  • “census day” means 21st April 1991;

  • “census night” means the night of 21st to 22nd April 1991.

(2)

In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires:–

(a)

any reference to a numbered article or Schedule is a reference to the article or Schedule bearing that number in this Order,

(b)

any reference in an article or Schedule to a numbered paragraph is a reference to the paragraph of that article or Schedule bearing that number, and

(c)

any reference to a Group is a reference to that Group as specified in Schedule 1.
