  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations are made under the Census Act 1920. They amend the arrangements enabling the Census (Scotland) Order 2020 (“the Census Order”) to be carried into effect.\nRegulation 2 amends a number of date references in the Census (Scotland) Regulations 2020 (“the principal regulations”). The amendments to the principal regulations are consequential on the Census (Scotland) Amendment Order 2020 which amended the Census Order to change the date on which a census is to be taken for Scotland from 21 March 2021 to 20 March 2022.",
