# The Census (Scotland) Regulations 1990, Introduction: Introductory text


CENSUS
Made 21st February 1990
Laid before Parliament 8th March 1990
Coming into force 29th March 1990
The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred upon him by section 3(1) of the Census Act 1920, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
