# The Census (Scotland) Regulations 2000, Regulation 16: Safe custody of forms and documents


Any person having the custody, whether on his own behalf or on behalf of any other person, of any forms of return or other documents (including electronic documents) containing personal census information shall keep such forms and documents in such manner as to prevent any unauthorised person having access to them.
