# The Census (Scotland) Regulations 2020, Regulation 2: Interpretation

(1) In these Regulations—
“the Census Order” means the Census (Scotland) Order 2020 ,
“the Registrar General” means the Registrar General of Births, Deaths and Marriages for Scotland.
