  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Central Counterparties (Amendment, etc., and Transitional Provision) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018.\n(2) Parts 2 to 5 of these Regulations come into force on exit day.\n(3) This Part and Part 6 of these Regulations come into force the day after the day on which they are made.\n(4) In these Regulations—\n“the 2000 Act” means the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 ;\n“central counterparty” has the meaning given in section 313(1) (interpretation of Part 18) of the 2000 Act.\n“the EMIR Regulation” means Regulation (EU) No 648/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories as it forms part of assimilated law.",
