# The Central Manchester Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1996, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes the Central Manchester Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1988 which designated the Central Manchester urban development area and established the Central Manchester Development Corporation. Articles 2 and 3 of that Order are revoked from 1st April 1996 and the remainder from 1st July 1996.
