# The Channel Tunnel (Customs and Excise) Order 1990, Paragraph 1

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

Sections 27 and 28 (officers' powers of boarding and access, etc.) shall have effect as if a vehicle at, entering or leaving a customs approved area fell within paragraphs (a) to (f) of subsection (1) of section 27 and as if a through train fell within those paragraphs while it constituted a control zone in a Designated State.
