# The Charitable Incorporated Organisations (Conversion) Regulations 2017, Regulation 7: Application not to be granted before eligibility decided


The Commission must not grant an application for CIC conversion before—
(a) it has been notified of the Regulator’s decision under regulation 6(4); and
(b) if an appeal against the Regulator’s decision is made, it is notified that the appeal has been finally determined or withdrawn.
