# The Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulations 2012, Regulation 52: Member’s right to hard copy

Extent: E+W

(1) Where a member of a CIO (“M”) has received a document or information from the CIO otherwise than in hard copy form, M is entitled to require the CIO to send M a version of the document or information in hard copy form.
(2) The CIO—
(a) must send the document or information in hard copy form within 21 days of receipt of M’s request; and
(b) may not make a charge for providing the document or information in that form.
