# The Charitable Incorporated Organisations (General) Regulations 2012, Paragraph 5: Amendment of the Charities (Exception from Registration) Regulations 2008

Extent: E+W

(1) The Charities (Exception from Registration) Regulations 2008 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2—
(a) at the start of paragraph (2), insert “Subject to paragraph (4),”; and
(b) after paragraph (3), insert—
“(4) This regulation does not apply to a charity which is constituted as a charitable incorporated organisation.”.
