# Charities Act 2006, Paragraph 9


(1) In section 75(2) of the Local Government Act 1894 (construction of that Act) the definition of “ecclesiastical charity” is amended as follows.
(2) In the second paragraph (proviso)—
(a) for “Charity Commissioners” substitute “ Charity Commission ”, and
(b) for “them” substitute “ it ”.
(3) In the third paragraph (inclusion of other buildings) for “Charity Commissioners” substitute “ Charity Commission ”.
