# The Charities (The Peabody Donation Fund) Order 1997, Paragraph 35: Charity not to relieve public funds


The Governors shall not apply income of the Charity directly in relief of rates, taxes or other public funds but may apply income in supplementing relief or assistance provided out of public funds.
