# The Chemical Weapons (Notification) (Amendment) Regulations 1996, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 1996/2503 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Coming into force 31st October 1996
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 23(1) of the Chemical Weapons Act 1996, hereby makes the following Regulations:
