Article 4 Interpretation

(1)

Except as otherwise provided, in the application of each Act to any of the territories to which it is extended, the expression “the Territory” means that territory.

(2)

In each Act, “Governor” means the Governor or other officer administering the government of the Territory.

(3)

In each Act, “justice of the peace” means a justice of the peace or a magistrate.

(4)

In each Act, “Attorney General” means the Attorney General of the Territory or, in his absence, any other person for the time being discharging his functions.
