# Chequers Estate Act 1917, Paragraph 10

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

The person who is for the time being the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster shall be the chairman of the administrative trustees but if he is absent from any meeting of the administrative trustees such of the trustees as are present at the meeting may choose one of their number to be their chairman for the purposes of that meeting.
