GOVERNMENT TRADING FUNDS

Made 30th July 1996

Laid before Parliament 30th July 1996

Coming into force 31st July 1996

Whereas:

(1)

the operations of the department of the government known as the Chessington Computer Centre are financed by means of a fund established by the Chessington Computer Centre Trading Fund Order 1993^f1 made under the Government Trading Funds Act 1973^f2 (“the 1973 Act”), and

(2)

it appears to the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, being the Minister of the Crown responsible for the Chessington Computer Centre, that its operations should cease to be financed by means of a trading fund;

Now, therefore, the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 1 and 6(1) of the 1973 Act, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:—
