# The Child Poverty Strategy (Wales) Regulations 2011, Regulation 2: Interpretation

Extent: E+W

In these Regulations—
(a) “child poverty strategy” (“strategaeth tlodi plant”) means a strategy as set out in section 2 of the Children and Families (Wales) Measure 2010;
(b) “the Welsh authorities” (“yr awdurdodau Cymreig”) for the purposes of these Regulations does not include the Welsh Ministers , a local authority or a corporate joint committee established by regulations made under Part 5 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021.
