# The Child Support Information Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4(4), 7(5), 14(1) and (3), 50(5), 51(1), 52(4), 54 and 57(1) and (2) of, and paragraph 16(10) of Schedule 1 to, the Child Support Act 1991 makes the following Regulations:
