# The Child Support (Maintenance Assessment Procedure) Regulations 1992, Paragraph 2: No maintenance assessment in force: more than one application by a child under section 7 of the Act


Where a child makes an effective application for a maintenance assessment under section 7 of the Act and, before that assessment is made, makes a subsequent effective application under that section with respect to the same person with care and absent parent, both applications shall be treated as a single application for a maintenance assessment.
