# The Child Support (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 1996, Regulation 7: Amendment of regulation 2 of the Information, Evidence and Disclosure Regulations


(1) Regulation 2 of the Information, Evidence and Disclosure Regulations (persons under a duty to furnish information or evidence), shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.
(2) After paragraph (1), there shall be inserted the following paragraph—
“(1A) A person falling within paragraph (2)(a) or (e) shall furnish such information or evidence as is required by the Secretary of State and is needed by him to enable a decision to be made in relation to the matters listed in regulation 3(1)(h) and (hh) where the person concerned has that information or evidence in his possession or can reasonably be expected to acquire it.”
(3) In sub-paragraph (e) of paragraph (2), after the word “sub-paragraphs" there shall be inserted “(aa), (ab),".
