# Children Act 1989, Section 79S: General functions of the Assembly.

(1) The Assembly may secure the provision of training for persons who provide or assist in providing child minding or day care, or intend to do so.
(2) In relation to child minding and day care provided in Wales, the Assembly shall have any additional function specified in regulations made by the Assembly; . . .
