# The Children Act 2004 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2005, Article 1: Citation, interpretation and application


(1) This Order may be cited as the Children Act 2004 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2005.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Children Act 2004.
(3) This Order applies to England except for Article 2(1)(j) which applies to England and Wales.
