# The Children (Protection at Work) Regulations 2000, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Children (Protection at Work) Regulations 2000, and shall come into force on 7th June 2000.
(2) In these Regulations, “the Act” means the Children and Young Persons Act 1933.
