# The Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Amendment Rules 1996, Introduction: Introductory text


CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS
Made 26th April 1996
Coming into force 1st October 1996
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 35(4) and 36(8) of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with the Council on Tribunals, hereby makes the following rules:–
